Prescription therapy

There are several types of prescriptions that may be used for the treatment of dry eye, including:

• Cyclosporine (Restasis), Lifitegrast (Xiidra): These prescription eye drops help to increase tear production in people with dry eye.

• Corticosteroid eye drops: These may be prescribed to reduce inflammation in the eye.

• Tyrvaya nasal spray: This nasal spray helps enhance basal or natural tear film production.

• Regener-Eyes biologic drops: These may help to reduce inflammation and heal damaged corneal tissue.
